Dear USC Libraries colleagues,
This past April, a selection of candidates for the USC Libraries dean search had an opportunity to engage with you, other deans on campus, and the senior leadership. I thank each of you who provided your feedback on these candidates, as it has been very helpful to me to hear your thoughts as we continue toward the finish line for this search.
Although a final selection has not yet been made, I wanted to reassure you that positive progress continues to be made. Incoming Provost Guzman will hopefully have more substantial news to share in the weeks following the July 4 holiday weekend.
I want to thank Interim Dean Schuetze-Coburn for her continued leadership during this transition and to the faculty and staff of the USC Libraries for their support and patience during this important process.
