We write to thank members of the Marshall Faculty Advisory Search Committee and the Special Advisors to the Provost for hosting a series of listening sessions over the past several days. We are grateful to the many students, staff, and faculty who participated and the many others who shared their thoughts directly with the Provost and with members of the committee. These are heartening signs of the Marshall community’s level of engagement and passion for USC Marshall.

Because we know that not everyone was able to attend a listening session and those who did may have more to contribute, we now have a questionnaire on the Marshall Dean Search website so you can provide additional feedback. You should have received an email with the link and password.

In order to ensure that our Marshall community voices are being represented, please do not share this with anyone outside the Marshall School.

We encourage you to nominate individuals who will make an outstanding leader of the Marshall School. You can send your confidential nominations directly to our search consultant, Spencer Stuart, at the following email address:

Please continue to visit the website for periodic updates and to provide your ongoing thoughts as the process moves forward. Thank you for your participation.

Michael W. Quick, provost
