Since its founding in 1880, USC has emphasized the teaching of moral responsibility to the broader community. Social work at USC was the first to combine elements of casework, group work and community organization into an integrated model of social work practice, which is widely reflected in curricula across the country to this day.

Dean Search for the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work

On behalf of President Austin, I am writing to announce the appointment of a search committee to identify and recruit outstanding candidates for the next dean of the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work.  Elizabeth Graddy, Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs, and Pinchas Cohen, Dean of the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, will co-chair the committee.  Appointed after consultation with the school’s faculty council, the search committee roster accompanies this memorandum.
